– #A Stint on the creeping political normalcy[1] of Thuringian fine print –
CHORUS LEADER: He who, in order to know / What danger threatens, reads papers / Each day at breakfast indignant / Over some distant disaster / Each day given explanations / That spare him the need to think / Each day informed of what happened the day before / He finds it hard to perceive what is happening now / Beneath his own roof – CHORUS: Unpublished! 1RST BONE TO PICK WITH MAGOO | F#CKIN' RESULTS, FAST!
Who in the world ... sorry ... who the hell, should be worrying about a mousy state named Thuringia[2], embedded in a small country called Germany[3]; in a sense, fitting Marshall's Plan ... sorry ... the Marshall Plan's[4] idea of Allemagne’s Post-WW II Destiny, sketched on Kilroy's[5] All American Napkin?
Who cares about Germany’s pivotal role[6] in international Politics, Economics, Finance and Monetary Policies?
At least ‘Chance‘ Magoo should!
The Big Issues[7] seem to have distracted his attention from pivotal Domestic Concerns having remained pretty much in the Dark of his Socio-Sensory Blind Spots. More or less, ‘Chance‘ Magoo seems to have proven pretty much at odds with his Party's Historical[8] Standing and Basic Programme[9].
Moreover, ‘Chance‘ Magoo has lacked awareness of Psycho-Socio Factors impacting Societal Mindset, having accumulated and clotted to an Aggregation of Political Stuff much harder than Concrete, i.e. factual evidence of doubtful Governmental Successes.
Well y’know ‘Chance‘, put simply as follows, Governing a Country and its People isn‘t just about what Folks’ve been (not) knowing or (not) thinking about certain Kinds of Governmental Action having been directed at an Abstract called Germany's Situation – having taken effect or not.
It's about the Millions of People‘s feelings of desperation, for the radical Changes to and in their respective lives seem to have just blown too many Folks‘ Minds.
Do they (have to) care about who's to be blamed?! No, for in a CEO's Fashion, they just want f#ckin' results, fast!
2ND BONE TO PICK WITH MAGOO | I’LL SUR(E)LY HANDLE IT!
‘Chance‘ Magoo[10] formerly know as ... And The Winner Is[11] Olaf Scholz[12] has turned into a live Cartoon Character having blinked[13] at the most recent Series of Discomforting Domestic Political Realities on surging Right-Wing Populism[14], having spread from Thuringia’s[15] Alternative for Germany[16] in particular. Noteworthy case in point relating to the issue: Geert Wilders‘[17] Blocking Minority[18].
‘Chance‘ Magoo‘s old but in outstanding Shape, however cannot see very well. An eye patch makes the Whole Thing even more difficult. Hence, he prefers talking to or about Objects, unwittingly winding up in dangerous Situations. Despite a surging Socio-Political Sentiment having denied his self-acclaimed Achievements, ‘Chance‘ Magoo never stops believing[19] things eventually fell into place as time went by.
3RD BONE TO PICK WITH MAGOO | BACK TO THE 70S!
Unfortunately, ‘Chance‘ Magoo has shared no significant Denominator of a Basic Understanding with his Political Competitors and vice versa, that could’ve solidified Governmental Action and Perspective to the benefit of the German Population or could’ve eased their viral Anxiety about the Future and Existential Dread.
Reviewing German history dating back to the 70s, ‘Chance‘ Magoo‘s Father Figure and Paragon Helmut Schmidt[20] shared the Third Reich’s[21] Doom and WW II Experience[22] with his political Contemporaries, despite having positioned themselves at Opposite Sides of the Political Camp.
In lockstep, the Oil Crisis[23] and the RAF’s[24] surging Reign of Terror had led to the Greatest Crisis in German Post-War History. Accordingly, Chancellor Schmidt took the Lead in forming and heading a permanent Crisis Team encouraging his political Opponents to get involved.
What a unique Achievement of his that was, especially recalling the Calibre of this Generation of Politician‘s Standing.
This time is different![25] No, it ain’t!
Considering the global consequences of the Russo-Ukrainian War[26], as much as the international Migration Crisis[27] having consistently correlated to Global Conflicts[28], it’s quite surprising, why the German Government hasn’t been able or willing to establish a Non-Partisan Consolidation of Political Power.
This could’ve prevented the Population from experiencing a different Kind of On-Going Terror. Instead, German Angst has been gradually fuelling Right-Wing Populism and Extremism over the past couple of years.
4TH BONE TO PICK WITH MAGOO | DOOMED DEMENTORS!
Since their inception, the Alternative for Germany has proven a Trojan[29] having infiltrated the German Population's Sentiment with rotten values at odds with democratic Virtues.
Their political carthorse's Camouflage of Economic and Social Dilettantism bears those National Socialist Dementors[30] sucking Democracy dry of its Foundations of Humanity in every sense, while implicitly spreading contagious Fantasies of Capitalist, Anti-Social Bias and Racist Supremity.
In the Voters' Interests, the Thuringian Government and Opposition should've been equally interested in pursuing a Motion of no Confidence[31] for different reasons. An Opposition, undermining the Ruling Coalition’s Ccapacity to Govern on a discreet Agreement provides Leeway to a Reign of Anti-Democratic Conspiracies.
Anyone ... anyone, anyone?[32] ... witnessing fellow Citizens tolerating, advocating and actively supporting the Alternative for Germany should be aware of the following consequences. In pursuance of their political striving for gaining broad national Political Empowerment and eventually Governmental Power, one may also interpret Germany's inevitable Militarisation much more scrutinously.
In the wake of the Russo-Ukrainian War[33] and its anticipated long-term Aftermath, an Alternative for Germany is likely to be turning the Federal Republic of Germany into a key potential Threat to the G7's, European Union's and NATO's Cohesion by means of frustrating Human Rights, Peace in Germany, Europe and The World.
Under a German Right-Wing Regime & Co[34] one could figuratively expect another Reichstag Fire[35] being staged, Culprits being found and sentenced, eventually legitimising Democratic Totalitariamism[36] putting on the Old Hat of Law and Order.
5TH BONE TO PICK WITH MAGOO | NEVERENDING CRISIS!
The Traffic Light Coalition’s[37] Public Debates have literally scared off and pissed off too many Decent People having had Faith in their Abilities. In fact, the German population has been witnessing adolescent Squabbles among hostile Siblings in excess of a reasonable Degree of Common Tolerance.
In spite of surging Right-Wing Populism and Extremism, the Ruling National as much as the Thuringian Government should’ve rather proven Scarecrow Coalitions respectively capable of banishing these Dementors.
On the inside as much as on the outside, ‘Chance‘ Magoo has particularly lacked such Leadership Skills[38] and undisputed Authority of Governance, vital to echoing and pacifying Germans‘ points of View and Understanding on how to be dealing with a Neverending Crisis.
If anyone has a conscience it's generally a guilty one. (Max Frisch, The Arsonists)

[10] Referring to Mr. Magoo (Wikiped): Mr. Magoo (known by his full name: J. Quincy Magoo) is a fictional cartoon character created at the UPA animation studio in 1949. Voiced by Jim Backus, Mr. Magoo is an elderly, wealthy, short-statured retiree who gets into a series of comical situations as a result of his extreme near-sightedness, compounded by his stubborn refusal to admit the problem. However, through uncanny streaks of luck, the situation always seems to work itself out for him, leaving him no worse than before. Bystanders consequently tend to think that he is a lunatic, rather than just being near-sighted. In later cartoons, he is also an actor, and generally a competent one, except for his visual impairment.

The member states of the Kaiser Reich transformed into free, republican states, so-called “Freistaaten” ––– Fritz Sauckel (Wikiped) ––– Thuringian articles about national history (lztthueringen.de): At dawn on October 16th, 1946 at Nuremberg’s prison, the execution of Fritz Sauckel was carried out, a man whose career as a leading NSDAP-official (National Socialist German Workers’ Party) had begun 20 years earlier in 1927 with his appointment as Thuringia’s Gauleiter, the leader of the Nazi district in that region. By 1930, Sauckel was able to lead the nationalist splinter party to becoming the first to participate in governing in a German district. Another two and a half years later he was able to achieve the “preponed takeover of power” as the head of the government. With Hitler coming to power 1933, Sauckel, a Northern-Bavarian by birth, rose to Reichstatthalter (imperial governor) in Thuringia and make his district into a strong regional power. In this way and thanks to personal connections, he increased his position of power within the polycratic “land of the Führer”. When he became “the general commissioner of the labor effort” in 1942, this was the most obvious expression of the power of the so-called “Gaufürst” or “district prince”. This position led to Sauckel becoming the “biggest and cruellest slave owner since the Egyptian pharaohs” (Robert H. Jackson, main prosecutor during the Nuremberg trials). Sauckel had six million forced labourers deported to Germany, which was the crucial factor in his being sentenced to death by hanging.
